City Tycoons Pemba and SK Mbuga might be in trouble after recent reports indicated that they might be possessing Stolen Rides.
Recently Uganda Police came out and pinned DRC for masterminding car thefts in the country & frustrating retrieval efforts by neighboring countries.
According to Asan Kasirye (Uganda Police Interpol Director) he said some high ranking officers in DRC government are behind the highly organized crime which has seen most luxurious cars flood Ugandan market recently.
It is said that these cars have been sold here in Uganda at a fair price and mostly to city tycoons either knowingly or unknowingly.
With that, Uganda Police and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has recalled a total of 186 cars to their Nakawa Headquarters before May 31, 2016. The vehicles have to be presented to the Assistant Commissioner Enforcement for verification. Failure to do so, the cars will be impounded on sight and the owners apprehended.
Among the wanted cars are Pemba Sports Africa's maroon BMW X6 and businessman SK Mbuga's black BMW X6. The other customized registration number plate is 'CHEUNE5' owned by Muyanja Derrick Senyonga.
