Starting from the lights to the Jokes that Salvado was attempting to make on stage, it really showed how incongruous the event was.
First of all, Fenon Records put up a mediocre work on the set of the main stage. Lights were dim and the place really looked dark. Fans kept on complaining each and every time.
The event kicked off at 8:00 pm with an acapella boy-group Harmonics, they were later followed Janzi Band who took the audience through the reggae vibes for close to half an hour.
A few minutes past 9 pm, Dj Apeman hit the stage with Fik Femaica, Nutty Neithan and Ykee Benda who ushered in Salvado while doing nursery rhymes.
Among the comedians that performed was Ronnie McVex as the host and Kenya’s funny man Chipukeezy whose stories majorly rotated on the political tide in Kenya.
Salvado’s jokes ... we can confirm that they are stale. He kept on repeating old jokes of three years back. His jokes rotated on lodges, food, garages, tribes, and cars.
At some point, fans would go silent for 5 minutes and he would remind them to laugh. However, some of the new JOKE included, Pastor Kayanja’s 77-DOGS, his very horny Mutooro wife and how she chased the maid who was giving her competition because Salvado had started getting feelings.
Salvado clearly should work on new jokes if he still wants to remain relevant in the comedy industry.
