An unlucky man has been arrested and later released in a case of mistaken identity. The man suspected to have taken part in the death of musician Moses Sekibogo alias Mowzey Radio was arrested and later released in Fort Portal.
Musa Tibakirana, the Kabarole District Police Commander, explains that the said man was arrested at 6:30 am on Sunday at the popular Glue Pot bar in Fort Portal town.
This is after police received information from revelers at the bar that there was a bearded man who resembles Godfrey Wamala, the bouncer implicated in the death of Mowzey Radio.
Wamala is on police's wanted list.
Tibakirana says that police detectives were dispatched to the bar and arrested the man who was then taken to Fort Portal Police Station and upon interrogation, it was established that he is Ivan Muhihi, a resident of Kireka in Kampala, hailing from Rukingiri district.
Wamala went missing after sending Radio six feet under with a punch.
