On Monday, Nigerian singers Omah Lay, Tems, and their manager were sent to jail for breaching the COVID-19 SOPs after performing for huge numbers at Ddungu beach in Munyonyo.

A day after, the singers were released and charges against them dropped.

As soon as they were out, Bobi Wine wrote on his social media platforms claiming he had instructed his lawyers to help the Nigerians get freedom.

On the same day, his nemesis Bebe Cool posted photos of their release order and posted videos with the singers before claiming he had a hand in their release.

It seems, the Nigerians finally learned that it was a diplomatic understanding between the Ugandan government and the Nigerian Embassy.

They went on Twitter and rubbished his claims.

They instead advised him to send his lawyers to rescue his supporters who were jailed due to the infamous protests that rocked Kampala and other parts of the country.
