Legendary radio host and Dj Alex Ndawula breathed his last at Nsambya hospital at age 59.
He rose to stardom in the mid-90s while doing several shows on Capital FM.
He presented the Morning Breakfast and Overdrive shows but was more prominent for the Capital Dance Force that happened every Saturday. He always got people dancing and grooving to his mixes.
Since his passing on, several entertainers and high-profile Ugandans have sympathized with and eulogized him.
Music legend Jose Chameleone who is one of the godfathers of the Ugandan music industry said Alex Ndawula was the constructor of the current music generation.
“Rest in peace Alex Ndawula. Radio legendary and constructor of our generation. We shall always remember you and pray for you,” the Leone Island boss posted.
The burial arrangements of Alex Ndawula are yet to be communicated
