Over the weekend, musician David Lutaalo delivered a message against the politics of hate and tribalism while in Mbarara.
Many perceived this as a direct critique of Bobi Wine, who has recently faced accusations of tribalism from government politicians.
Lutaalo, however, clarified that he harbors no issues with the Opposition in Uganda. He also explained that he cannot criticize Bobi Wine, as they are both musicians and share a message of unity.
"I was performing a song I produced over ten years ago. So I want all of you to know that I don't have a problem with Opposition people in the country. In fact, I think we preach the same message of unity," he stated.
Lutaalo emphasized that he is not a politician but holds respect for them and their responsibilities.
