Musician Zafaran last week opened up about the struggles she has gone through trying to land collaborations with male musicians in the industry.
She explained that male musicians are often focused on sex. Sexual favors are one of the requirements many ask for whenever you request a collaboration.
However, Zafaran has now revealed that she is ready to support female musicians to overcome sexual harassment.
"I will support female musicians struggling with sexual harassment. I want to fight this vice which is taking over our industry, and I will stand up to be counted," she said in an interview with a local television station.
Zafaran believes collaborations should be given out of respect because they contribute to the development of the industry.
