For months now, reports have emerged indicating Namulondo's aspirations to contest for the Makindye West MP position.
It was reported that Namulondo had already presented her aspirations to the leadership of the National Unity Platform and was only waiting for the green light from the party.
However, the actress has remained tight-lipped on the matter. In a discussion with Spark TV, Namulondo neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
"I will discuss that at the right time. It will all come out to you, but it's not the time to talk about that," she said in part.
If Namulondo is indeed preparing to run for the position, she will face stiff competition from David Musiri, the head of Institutions in NUP, as well as from KCCA Speaker Zahrah Luyirika and the incumbent Allan Sewanyana.
