Most artists face tough challenges when they first join the music industry. In many cases, their parents don't want them to get involved in it.
This was the case with Sheebah Karungi, whose mother stopped her from pursuing music through dancing and karaoke.
When Sheebah persisted, her mother disowned her and kicked her out of the house.
However, Sheebah explained that her mother later took her back after she made significant strides in the industry, including amassing considerable wealth.
"My mum disowned me, but she took me back after I started earning money. You have to make money, even your parents will love you more when you have something to put on the table," she said in an interview with a local television station.
Sheebah believes that money is the most important thing in life and that everyone should work hard to obtain it.
