Gospel singer and preacher Judith Babirye has revealed that she wants to mend her relationship with NUP President Bobi Wine.
Their relationship soured after Judith Babirye voted in favor of removing the Age Limit clause from the constitution in December 2017, which allowed President Museveni to run for a sixth term.
Babirye explained that she now wants to talk with everyone and engage with different people, as she is no longer involved in politics. She hopes to be a unifying force and believes making peace with Bobi Wine will be good for her.
"I have old pictures with Bobi Wine because we were both artists before entering politics. Personally, I’m out of politics now, and I want to talk to Bobi Wine as a friend, not a politician. I want to restore that relationship with my people," she said during a discussion with Wisdom Kaye.
