Musician Moses Ssali, aka Bebe Cool, is the person who introduced Rema Namakula to the music scene. He invested a lot of money to build her brand and career.

After spending a few years under Gagamel, Rema Namakula left to focus on her marriage with Eddy Kenzo and later signed under the management of Kayemba Solomon.

Bebe Cool now says Rema hasn’t reached her full potential, as she would have if she had stayed under Gagamel.

He believes the singer could have been more successful than she is today, and he doesn't consider her a successful musician.

"If that's where she wanted to be, then maybe she is successful. I don’t gauge her success based on the vision I had for her. To me, she is not successful, but based on her perspective, she might be because success is personal," Bebe Cool explained in an interview with Eddie Sendie and Jenkins Mukasa.
