The Prime Minister of the Buganda Kingdom, Charles Peter Mayiga, has expressed his willingness to mediate reconciliation talks between Alien Skin and singer Pallaso.
Mayiga voiced his disappointment over the recent violent clashes between the two artists and cautioned them against engaging in physical altercations in the future.
He emphasized that artists should focus on their music rather than resorting to fights, as such actions are unproductive and potentially dangerous, which undermines the growth of the music industry.
“It’s not good to engage in physical fights. I know Patrick Mulwana, also known as Alien Skin, and Pius Mayanja, also known as Pallaso. They should have reached out to me, and I would have helped resolve the matter before it escalated. The Mayanja family is renowned for their contributions to music, and we want them to focus on that. They should be on planes to Hollywood representing the country, not engaging in physical altercations,” he explained during a meeting with Spice Diana, who sought his endorsement for her upcoming concert.
Mayiga condemned the brawl, which began on December 31 at the Buganda Kingdom’s Enkuuka Festival and later escalated to the Empere Festival in Entebbe and Alien Skin’s residence in Kampala.
He also urged artists to seek peaceful ways to resolve conflicts instead of resorting to violence and physical confrontations.
