Over the past decade, the Mayanja family and Uganda's music industry have suffered the tragic loss of two musicians to violence. In 2015, the country mourned AK47, and in 2017, Radio passed away.

Musician Pallaso says these losses have taught him hard lessons, and he now fights back in self-defense to avoid meeting the same fate.

The singer explained that he values his life and will defend it at all costs, knowing there is no second chance once someone is gone.

"I don’t know anything that can bring back my life if I die today. AK47 died, and he has never come back. The same goes for Radio; he took the same route. Both were beaten, and we lost them as a family. Since then, I’ve understood that death is a one-way journey. Anyone who threatens my life in this peaceful Uganda will face harsh consequences," he emphasized.

Pallaso’s comments follow a recent scuffle with Alien Skin at the Empele Festival and an attack on Alien Skin’s home, which caused property damage.

Efforts led by Captain Mike Mukula are underway to reconcile the two artists.
