Musician Fik Gaza recently faced backlash from NUP supporters after holding a meeting with the Minister for Youths, Balaam Barugahare.
He, however, clarified that the meeting was not about joining the NRM government but was aimed at securing scholastic materials for school-going children in the ghetto.
The singer has since pledged his unwavering support for the National Unity Platform (NUP) in the upcoming elections, announcing that he will perform at all the party’s rallies free of charge.
"Hey fans! I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be performing and campaigning for the National Unity Platform (NUP) party for free! Let's unite for a better Uganda," he wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
Fik Gaza believes that performing at NUP rallies will help him gain more public support.
