Legendary producer Washington has lauded Bebe Cool, saying he introduced Ugandan music to the international scene.
Speaking about his highly anticipated album, "Break the Chains," Washington noted that Bebe Cool achieved this over a decade ago when he vied for international awards like the Channel O Music Video Awards, among others.
He suggested that the Gagamel boss simply needs to adjust his mindset this time around, but emphasized that he paved the way years ago.
"I want to remind Bebe Cool that he broke the chain a long time ago when he went for the Channel O Awards and many more," he explained in a local television interview. "He is the person for the big stage, but he should go with the right mentality."
Bebe Cool believes his upcoming album will be a breakthrough for Ugandan artists and create greater competition on the international scene.
