City designer and social media personality Kim Swagga has denied fathering a daughter with socialite and former convict Shanita Namuyimbwa, also known as Bad Black.
Kim Swagga, through his social media, revealed DNA test results, explaining that he was tested for the daughter's DNA, and the results were negative.
The tests were done eight years ago. He has been silent until now but can no longer remain so for his own good and that of his family.
"OPEN LETTER: From a very sad point, I am left with no option but to address this very sensitive matter on a public platform. For more than 10 years, you have always belittled, humiliated, and provoked me publicly whenever a camera is in front of you.
I am a father who loves and takes care of my children. I am only sorry for the innocent young girl (Davina), whose reputation has been damaged by her own mother. I chose to be very quiet about this matter of me neglecting my so-called responsibility as a father to “my daughter.”
Eight years ago, Davina was sick; it was the same year her mother was released from prison. She called me and asked me to take Davina to the hospital because, apparently, she was nursing a hangover and couldn't take her to see a doctor. (If you have a good memory, you will remember that day, Mama Davina.)
Well, I took her to the hospital, and I got a chance to take a DNA test without the mother's consent. It was not easy to convince the doctor who administered the test because, apparently, I had to have her mother's consent on record. But I pleaded and promised to keep the results to myself, and that is why I kept quiet all this time.
I regret not opening up to her mother about it. Maybe we wouldn't have reached this point of making it a public matter.
My dear "Black," I apologize profusely, but I am not the biological father of your pretty daughter.
I am open to another DNA test just for you, and I challenge you to make it live on camera for the public to know since you have always taken the matter public," he explained in a long social media post.
Kim Swagga added that he is ready for another DNA test for the daughter if the mother insists he is the biological father.
His revelation comes at a time when the two have been involved in endless verbal attacks against each other.
