The Member of Parliament for Kawempe South, Bashir Kazibwe, is currently unwell and battling a strange illness.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Bashir Kazibwe was poisoned and is currently experiencing significant discomfort due to severe pain in his lower abdomen.
It is alleged that Bashir Kazibwe may have been poisoned by agents of his political opponents in Kawempe South.
"He is unwell, and the symptoms strongly suggest poisoning. He has been complaining of constant pain throughout the day; he must have been poisoned," a source told this website.
Bashir Kazibwe was a prominent critic of President Museveni during the 2021 electoral season.
However, he has taken a less active role and remained silent throughout his current term representing Kawempe South in Parliament.
Bashir Kazibwe is a Member of Parliament representing the National Unity Platform. However, he may not receive the party's endorsement next year, as he reportedly has not visited the party headquarters for several years.
