Musician Elijah Kitaka has opened up about fatherhood and how he became a father to his first child at 19 years old.
The singer, who has three children in total, explained they are from two different women. Kitaka says he was trying to find his way as a man and made some mistakes along the way.
The Swangz Avenue hitmaker revealed he has one son and two beautiful daughters, and he is a man taking full responsibility.
"I have three children, two beautiful daughters and one son. They are from two mothers. I became a father at 19 years old; I was trying to find myself just away from the church," he explained.
Elijah Kitaka, however, says parents must always engage their children when they turn 18 years old. They need to understand the essence of love, marriage, and responsibility.
"I think our parents made a mistake of keeping the truth away from us in my generation. I personally didn't get time to discuss the responsibilities as a man with my father, and it really affected me at first," he explained.
Elijah Kitaka says he will have more children in the years to come.
