Controversial musician Biswanka has revealed his plans to retire from music in December this year to concentrate on other ventures.
The singer made the revelation, claiming he is receiving threatening phone calls because of his music and is leaving to create space for other artists.
The musician now says he is considering contesting for a parliamentary seat in Makindye.
Biswanka stated he is a resident of Makindye, has lived in the area for a long time, and has the support of the residents.
"Because we are going into electioneering, I also plan to contest for the MP position in Makindye," he explained. "I am a resident there and have support."
Biswanka says he will compete for the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket. However, he did not specify which particular constituency, either East or West.
