For almost fifteen years now, Benon Mugumbya and Julius Kyazze have been working together as partners in Swangz Avenue and many other business ventures.

Mugumbya says the idea was introduced to him by Julius Kyazze, who had the funding at the time, while Benon was more skilled in production.

The legendary producer, however, says they have never had a dispute between them; they have faced challenges along the way but never engaged in a fight.

"We have actually never had a dispute between the two of us in all these years. Challenges have been there; we talked about them with different people and moved on," he explained.

Mugumbya says their relationship has been very productive because they both have much love and appreciation for music.

"We didn't start because of money. We wanted to make a contribution to the music industry, and this has really made this journey a success," he added.

Under the Swangz Avenue company, there is a music label, a music school, a production company, marketing and advertising, among others.
