According to very many people in the music industry, Bebe Cool was an undeserving winner. 2013 wasn’t an outstanding year for Bebe but organizers of the Hipipo Awards surprised many, including Bebe himself, when he was handed the six awards. They included; Male Artist, Raggae Artist, Social Media Artist, Stage Performer, Reggae song and Artist of the Year awards.

While Bebe scooped all these awards the likes of impressive Moze Radio and Weasel TV only managed one gong; Best Duo. On the other hand Kenzo who has had an outstanding 2013 with songs like Kamunguluze, Stress Free, Zoom Zoom among others went home empty handed. And this has not gone well with him. Kenzo took to facebook and poured out his anger and frustration.

Then later added in support of Good Lyfe:

“Magnetic,obudde,fiting, ekyama, amaso, hehehe on my side 2013,radio$ weseal big up we need to appreciate good work guys.”

Ever since the awards took place on Saturday night, many have taken to facebook and twitter to blast the awarding which has been termed ‘unfair.’ Singer GNL Zamba described the awards as ‘a loss’.
