There is no doubt that NBS is now the number one current affairs Television station in the region. This is very evident with the fact that NBS has redefined the conventional television broadcasting of reporting news at particular hours of the day and introduced reporting news when it is happening, where it is happening and while it is happening with their live coverage as their slogan goes “Live everywhere Always”

As NBS tops the television market, the then day’s television giant NTV is crumpling at an alarming rate. Its no longer a rumour that NTV has lost up to 12 Firebrands of human resource to NBS.

In a morning tip big names like Solomon Sserwnaja who worked at NTV as political reporter/anchor for the last five years has officially joined NBS where he will be putting a torch on political reports.

The exodus seems to have left NTV in an intensive care unit with other employees including Rukh-Shana Naluyimba, best weekend news anchor, Moris Ochol, political reporter, Wassaw Chrismel, an executive producer and Shillah Mugisha news reporter all making their ways to work with NBS.

Its further alleged that personnel at the Serena based station including Godfrey Badebye who has been working as camera man, Samuel Walugembe, heads of graphic and above all Florence Naluyimba who opted to go for further studies have created a deep vacuum in the human resource capacity of the station.

This is no doubt the biggest media sweep in the long history of Television in the region. The last time such event happened was witnessed by the gradual collapse of Naguru based station WBS.

Its been noted that the team made up their mid to join NBS without worrying of the collapse of their mother station NTV , as the walk to meet new faces and TV personalities like Joseph Sabit who recently quite working with WBS, Simon Kaggwa Njala, Simon Muyanga and veteran journalist Shaun Kimuli.
