Police are searching for unidentified thugs who stabbed to death a security guard at a supermarket in Kagadi town council and made off with unspecified amount of money and goods.
Romeo Onek Ojara, the Kagadi District Police Commander identifies the deceased as 55-year-old Luke Dramani, a resident of Hoima district who was guarding Nankulabye filling station and Nankulabye super market in Kagadi town council when he was attacked around 3:00am this morning.
According to Ojara, the thugs also attacked a pump attendant identified as Nicholas Amanyire and a guard at Adnek bar and lodge who had come to Dramani’s rescue.
Police recovered some items used by thugs from the scene of crime and urged the business community to install Closed Circuit Television Cameras-CCTV to help identifying criminals.
The injured are admitted at St. Ambrose Charity Health Center in Kagadi town.
