Once bitten twice shy. The Goodlyfe team is unsettled following reports that Bobi Wine's younger brother Mickie Wine has decided to stage his concert, "Bend and slide" dance party on the same date as theirs. Mickie Wine has further announced that it will be held at Equatorial Parking.
Radio and Weasel had earlier made mention that they would hold a show on 13th May at Hotel Africana as it had always been in the previous years.
A source intimated to us that theirs is a battle between "Tubonga Nawe" singers and those who did not chew NRM money. They are said to be in preparations to invite FDC and opposition bigwigs to grace the concert and Radio and Weasel have every reason to be afraid following reports that their Dubai show fell far below expectations.
Also Mickie's mentor Bobi Wine is a strong opposition-leaning artist and his obvious support for his lesser influential brother is a worrying note for Good life.
