A few days ago, musician Naira Ali claimed some musicians pay to be on top of charts, get airplay and fake praises, on top of suffocating their competitor’s music.
This sparked a debate that has been dominating headlines in the past few days.
Naira Ali was attacked by fans and some media personalities for reportedly telling lies but Uganda Musician' Association (UMA) President, Cindy Sanyu sided with her.
Cindy explained that she has experienced what Naira Ali narrated and she knows artists who engage in the practice.
The self-proclaimed King herself said Naira Ali was not bold enough to expose them but she will do if they don’t stop.
