Zex Bilangi Langi, the prominent artist known as the Ghetto Prime Minister, has expressed his lack of faith in the newly formed Uganda National Musicians Federation. He confesses that he does not comprehend the federation's objectives.
According to Zex, the new federation appears to be similar to previous associations that failed to make a significant impact, leaving him skeptical about its potential to achieve progress in terms of copyright laws.
"I haven't attended their meetings, but there's something that eludes my understanding. It seems to resemble past groupings that ultimately had no real effect. Currently, I am not a member, and I will only consider joining if I see promising prospects," Zex revealed during an interview with a local television station.
Additionally, Zex Bilangi Langi strongly believes that the industry can only attain its goals if unity is fostered. He emphasizes the need for artists to collectively advocate for copyright protection, even if they have to engage in different battles on various fronts.
