The hitmaker has applauded the NBS After 5 host for offering him a platform and support while he was struggling in the ghettos of Bwaise.
D Star narrated that he once crossed paths with Douglas, who gifted him twenty thousand Uganda shillings and offered him a platform on one of his shows back then.
"I have much love and appreciation for Douglas Lwanga. He is a man I will always appreciate; he once gave me twenty thousand and even recorded my video. I think he had seen potential in me," the Hozambe hitmaker partly said in an interview with a local television station.
D Star also promised to pay back Douglas Lwanga when he eventually makes it big financially.
