Singer Mr. Lee from the B2C singing group has revealed that he quit school to support his younger sister, who was joining university.
The singer explained that their mother was struggling financially and was responsible for everything at home, including tuition for him and school fees for the younger siblings.
When his sister joined university, Mr. Lee was in his second year, first semester. However, he decided to quit and focus on music. He thought it wise not to burden his mother with the tuition for two people.
"I had to drop out of school to make space for my younger sister because there wasn't enough money to educate both of us. My mother was struggling financially, and she couldn't afford tuition for both of us," he partly said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Mr. Lee also said he doesn't regret the decision.
