Self-proclaimed promoter Norbat Events faced the wrath of the Mayanja family on Tuesday this week after being assaulted by singer Weasel.
Weasel claimed he hadn't been paid for the "Memories of Goodlyfe" concert, which took place at Hotel Africana earlier this month.
However, in an interview with Sanyuka Television, Norbat Events confirmed that he had paid Weasel 100 million Ugandan shillings as a signing fee.
"I paid Weasel 100 million Ugandan shillings just as a signing fee, and everyone I spoke with about it told me I wasted my money. He even bought a car with part of the money I gave him," he said.
Norbat added that he has all the documentation of payments made to Weasel and will present it at the right time.
