Musician Sheebah Karungi is one of the most successful artists in the Ugandan music industry and has been so for over fifteen years.
She has a wealth of knowledge about making it in the industry and has shared some tips for success.
Sheebah revealed that one should be authentic to make it in the industry, explaining that people always want to hear something new and original.
Sheebah also warned upcoming artists not to engage in drugs as they will lose focus.
"Be careful about where you end up. Don't go around with people who abuse drugs. You will be tempted to try, and you will never stop once you start," she said.
She also urged upcoming artists to be hardworking and prayerful because it's a tough industry with many ups and downs.
"Trust in God and pray always because it's a tough industry. Be patient," she said.
