Musician Edirisa Musuuza, aka Eddy Kenzo, has taken a break from releasing new music.

This has been ongoing for over a year since he became busy with federation work and the call for copyright law.

However, the singer says he is not affected by the low music release rate, explaining that he can continue performing worldwide without releasing new songs.

He believes strongly in his catalog and says it is enough for his fans to continue enjoying his music for years to come.

"You know, personally, I release timeless music. Even without releasing new songs, you will hear me perform all over—Mali, Gabon, Benin. Even as I speak now, bookings come, but I pause them," he said in an interview with a local television station.

Eddy Kenzo also revealed that he has continued to receive bookings worldwide despite pausing his international performances.
