Musician Eddy Kenzo (Edrisah Musuuza) began his career under the Firebase crew, a label led by Bobi Wine.

While there, he released "Yaniba," featuring Mike Wine, which introduced him to the public. He also released "Musonyiwe," among other songs.

Kenzo later left the label to start his own, Big Talent, and revealed that one reason he left was that Bobi Wine was copying his songs for new releases.

He specifically mentioned "Yaniba" and "Musonyiwe" as songs Bobi Wine copied.

"He copied 'Yaniba' and released 'Promise.' I thought he did it out of love for the song, but when I did 'Musonyiwe,' he used the same rhythm for 'Wesontige.' That’s when I realized it wasn’t a coincidence and decided to leave," Kenzo said in an interview with a local television station.

Kenzo also revealed that he was not being paid adequately by Mike Wine, which further contributed to his decision to leave.
