Earlier this week, Abba Marcus, the son of legendary musician Chameleone, made headlines after publicly calling out his father over repeated and uncontrolled alcoholism.

Marcus urged Chameleone's friends and fans to join him in helping save his father, revealing that medical doctors have warned the singer has only two years to live if he doesn't quit alcohol.

Following reports suggesting that Daniella had asked Marcus to discuss his father's struggles with alcoholism in the media, Abba Marcus has clarified that his statements were made independently and were not influenced by anyone else.

"I want to clarify that all the concerns I raised come from me as an individual, and I appreciate the people supporting my cause," he said in a video shared on TikTok.

Abba Marcus further shared that Chameleone is currently improving and receiving the treatment he needs.
