Singer Ibrahim Mayanja, known as Big Eye, has shared his involvement in the events surrounding Segirinya Muhammad's passing. Big Eye arrived in Masaka early and quickly stepped up to help manage things on the ground.
He recounted that there was an attempt, apparently by people associated with Mathias Mpuuga, to move Segirinya's body very early in the morning. Big Eye said he took charge of a group of NUP supporters, instructing them to prevent this.
"I reached Masaka at around 05:00am and I started taking charge of everything. I commanded part of the team of the boys to not allow anyone to go away with Segirinya's body," he explained.
Big Eye feels that Segirinya would be happy knowing that Bobi Wine and the NUP were able to fulfill many of his wishes.
