Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abitex, has called upon the Uganda Police to stop singers Gravity Omutujju and Lil Pazzo from performing vulgar music.

The promoter explained that the two artists continue to perform vulgar songs despite being banned by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and the Uganda National Cultural Forum (UNCF).

He urged the police to take action against them for failing to adhere to the guidelines issued by UCC and UNCF.

"UCC banned them from performing vulgar music, and the Uganda National Cultural Forum did the same, but they have ignored these directives. We all know Gravity Omutujju and Lil Pazzo were banned from performing vulgar music, yet they continue to do so. Gravity even performs mostly at NRM events. We need the authorities to enforce the law. Police should assist UCC in stopping their performances," Abitex explained during an interview with a local television station.

In December last year, UCC, together with the Uganda National Cultural Forum, banned artists from performing vulgar music. However, the two artists have continued to disregard the ban.
