Singer Latinum has decided to expose NBS television presenter Douglas Lwanga's alleged greed.

He claims that while people perceive Lwanga as wealthy, he doesn't pay musicians for their performances, even those who headline his concerts. Latinum alleges that Lwanga uses them to make money.

It's common practice in Uganda for musicians to perform for free, especially when they have an agreement with the concert organizer.

Douglas Lwanga has a signature concert known as Purple Party, which takes place annually in different locations. It's one of the most successful concerts in the country, but according to Latinum, the musicians aren't compensated, which he finds surprising and embarrassing.

Latinum claims that this lack of payment is one of the reasons his career has faded, as the music industry requires financial investment, which he hasn't received, alleging that he's being used to ensure Lwanga's concerts are successful.

"I don't know if I will ever work with Douglas Lwanga again because for all the concerts you saw me in, he never paid me. There were some where I headlined, and to be honest, I didn't get anything from them, and that's why I am where I am," he said.
