Musician and songwriter Brian Avie has revealed that he is taking a break from music this year due to growing political tension and the ongoing financial crisis.

The singer says he is postponing releasing music until further notice.

Brian Avie explained that this year is not musically fruitful, and those investing in music won't see significant financial returns, apart from a few artists like Bebe Cool who have large budgets.

"I will postpone releasing music until further notice. Artists may not accept this, but this year isn't musically fruitful. That's why most of your songs are not doing well since January. There is too much political tension and financial crisis, which makes it a big risk to invest in music right now. It's definitely a year of politics. To those of you who succeeded with concerts, congratulations, and it was a smart move before campaigns start. Artists like Bebe Cool can achieve so much musically because he planned this since last year, and his budget is substantial enough to support him. Even if you wish to stay relevant, there are higher chances of encountering losses. (Stay smart in your lane of work)," he explained in a lengthy post shared on his social media.
