American R&B and pop star Ne-Yo is set to record a mega mash-up with several African artistes for Coke Studio Africa season three. Haitian musician and actor Wyclef Jean was the star attraction at the show last season.
Maurice Kirya (Uganda), Kenyan rapper Wangechi, bongo star Ali Kiba, Dama Do Bling (Mozambique) and Ice Prince (Nigeria) will all be featured in the mash up with the So Sick hit maker.
Ne-Yo - who was at this year's edition of the MAMAs in Durban, South Africa last month - said in a statement: "It's a true honour to return to Africa and celebrate artistes from all over the continent. By creating this musical fusion through Coke Studio Africa, people of all races, ethnicities and religion will come together through this remarkable opportunity. I'm so excited to build lasting moments with all of these incredibly talented artists and musicians."
In the past decade, Ne-Yo has produced six albums, with Non-Fiction being his latest. It was released in January 2015.
