President Museveni the NRM flag bearer was presented to the Electoral Commission (EC) by the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda and youth minister Evelyn Anite. Talking to Journalists after the nomination, Museveni said that;
“We went through liberation, recovery, building foundations. Foundation is in place – and ready for take-off,” adding that “”Am here because the party fronted me”
