The former Uganda Musician Association(UMA) president and longtime musician, Sophie Gombya, pointed out that entertainers, Isaac Rucci and Sophie Nantogo are capable of running the music industry.
In an interview with NBS TV, she said the UMA job needs someone who is knowledgeable enough and has respect for the industry.
"The position of UMA presidency needs someone who has enough time on their hands and of course the brains because it's largely about lobbying. I would choose Isaac Rucci or Sophie Nantogo for the position," she said.
Sophie Gombya resigned from the association president in July last year to concentrate on her political career.
