Musician Zex Bilangilangi has always been very critical of the Uganda National Musicians Federation under the leadership of Eddy Kenzo.
Zex now says he was never invited to join the federation, yet he is a big stakeholder in the music industry.
Bilangilangi believes he lost trust and hope in the federation after not being invited, sensing a bad motive.
"I was never invited to join Kenzo's federation. I was deliberately left out, and since then I knew something was lacking. They were hiding something from me, and I couldn't just follow the trail," he said in an interview with a local television.
The singer also criticized the slow process of copyright law. He believes the government is frustrating it and doesn't see it going through.
