After Eddy Kenzo, Joshua Baraka has emerged as one of Uganda’s biggest exports.
The singer has dominated international media with his music and countless collaborations across Africa.
Speaking about his journey, Baraka revealed that he has no plans of stopping when it comes to raising the Ugandan flag. He will continue doing what he does best for his own benefit and that of the country.
Baraka explained that he feels blessed to represent Uganda and promised to achieve even greater things for the industry and the nation as a whole.
“I feel blessed to represent Uganda every day, and I will keep doing what I do best to accomplish even more for the benefit of the industry and the country at large,” he said in part during an interview with a local television station.
Baraka made his international breakthrough with the hit song "Nana" and has continued to release more tracks, including "Dalilah," "Falling in Love," and "Touch Me" featuring Fave and Krizbeatz, as well as "Tonight" featuring DJ Neptune, among others.
