Catherine Kusasira and Spice Diana's concert dates have clashed, with both shows scheduled for January 10, 2025.
However, Kusasira is confident that both events will succeed, as they target different audiences.
She explained that their music styles are distinct and she has no concerns about the possibility of her show flopping.
Kusasira also revealed that it was her fans who demanded the concert, and she was unaware of Spice Diana's concert date when she announced hers.
"It's my fans who have been asking for this concert for a long time. I didn’t know Spice Diana was performing on the same day. We have different target audiences, and our music is different," she said in part during an interview with a local television station.
Critics, however, have suggested that one of the two artists should consider rescheduling their concert, arguing that both events share a similar target audience, making it challenging for both to succeed on the same day.
Kusasira's concert will be held at Sheraton Hotel, while Spice Diana’s will take place at Serena Hotel Kampala.
