The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), along with the Uganda National Cultural Centre, recently condemned musicians Gravity Omutujju and Lil Pazzo for vulgar lyrics, banning some of their songs from the media.

Now, Ragga Dee, the Chairperson of the National Cultural Forum, is urging the two artists to issue public apologies.

“They should apologize to the public for their vulgar content, to artists’ organizations for complicating life in the industry, and to the younger generation they have influenced,” Ragga Dee said in a local TV interview.

However, Ragga Dee disagreed with Phina Masanyalaze’s suggestion to ban them from performing entirely, instead recommending they exclude vulgar songs from their performances.
