Events promoter Nobart Events has defended Alien Skin's concert, declaring it a success.
Despite criticism, Nobart explained that Alien Skin's concert was indeed successful. He stated that the concert drew large crowds and that moving the show from Hotel Africana proved to be a blessing in disguise.
Nobart expressed satisfaction with the event, asserting that it was not a flop and that he was very pleased with the attendance.
The promoter added that, unlike Weasel's concert at Hotel Africana last year where he incurred losses, he did not experience any losses with Alien Skin's event.
"I am very satisfied with the number of attendees who turned out for the event. It was a success, especially when compared to Weasel's concert where I registered losses. The number of people who attended Alien Skin's concert would have filled Hotel Africana and would not have fit in that venue. Therefore, I am very appreciative of the turnout," he explained in a phone call interview with a local YouTuber.
Nobart Events' comments come after various individuals claimed that the event at Lugogo Cricket Oval was a flop.
