Uganda police force is cancelling music conceby people that may want to harm him.

The argument was delivered by Frank Tumwebaze the minister of information, communication and technology who believes that the police’s role is to secure a politician of Kyagulanyi’s caliber. He adds that it is wrong of the MP to hide his political games behind the innocent music industry.

“A political contender wants to ride on the innocent music goers who want to attend and politic. Now, that brings up a lot of security questions, the crowd you have invited, there could be people who want to harm you Kyagulanyi and blame it on government” Tumwebaze argues.

This comes after police canceled the Kyagulenga extra concert organized by Bobi Wine at his One Love Beach in Busaabala which was slated for yesterday Easter Monday. Police argues that the MP did not fulfill the required guidelines to hold a concert.

The minister adds that Kyagulanyi is not the only enemy the NRM government/Uganda has, but there might be other enemies of the government that may want to harm him and give the country a bad name.

According to hon. Tumwebaze, NRM is not scared of the MP, but rather applaud him for supporting the call by government for all citizens to acquire National Identifications. He argues that when these people that have acquired IDs do vote in 2021, Bobi Wine should be ready to accept the outcome.

“Look at the turn up during past elections, this election will be successful. First of all, I thank hon. Kyagulanyi for mobilizing people to get endangamuntu which his fellow opposition was de-campaigning.

I want to thank him for knowing that endangamuntu which was an NRM initiative is very important, not only for voting but for very many other aspects. So, let him know that the same people with endangamuntu will go and vote, so let him prepare to accept what comes out of the vote. He has already declared himself, we are ready for anybody” the minister added.
