The Uganda Police Force has finally admitted to helping the immigration office deport South African Music Icon Yvonne Chaka Chaka from Uganda after she allegedly entered the country under the guise of an ordinary Visa, yet she was here for work.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says that Chaka Chaka was escorted to the Airport earlier today by a joint team of immigration and security officers and took the available flight via Kigali to South Africa.

According to Enanga, the Umkomboti star was in Uganda on an ordinary Visa, but immigration was later informed that she intended to perform at the famous Enkuka show in Lubiri Mengo. "She and her promoters were advised to apply for a work Visa for her music performance and avoid the pretense of being an ordinary visitor. The ordinary Visa cannot allow her perform in any income generating activity within the country" Enanga said.

The police mouth piece added that this was done by immigration officials with a security team to maintain the integrity of the Ugandan immigration rules.
Chaka Chaka who was one of the fearless people that fought against apartheid is believed to have been invited at the advise of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi who has also made known his intentions to run for president come 2021.

She has been one of Bobi Wine's supporters from day one, and the deportation has been viewed by many as a witch-hunt.
