The wait is almost over for students and families! The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has announced that the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results will be released this week, specifically on February 11th, 2024. The announcement was made on UNEB's official X (formerly Twitter) platform, building excitement across the country.

This year's exams were particularly significant. A remarkable 379,748 students took the UCE exams at 4,168 centers nationwide. What makes this year truly special is that 369,601 of these students were the first to be assessed under the new Lower Secondary Curriculum (NLSC). This curriculum shift emphasizes practical skills and competency-based learning, a major step forward for the education sector.

Adding another layer to this historic year, 10,147 students who studied under the older curriculum also had the opportunity to take a special transitional exam. This exam offered a chance for students to improve their grades or make up for past missed opportunities.
