Newly elected Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine will this afternoon be officially sworn in.
Kyagulanyi will take oath during the Tuesday afternoon plenary sitting. An excited Bobi Wine took to his facebook page last evening and called upon all his supporters to join him at parliament, and later in Kasangati for a party.
He wrote; “we celebrate #PEOPLEPOWER. Join me for the inauguration at the Parliament of the republic of uganda at 2pm then later on at Kasangati Saza grounds for general celebrations filled with music and fun.”
12 days ago, Bobi Wine won the Kyadondo East MP seat after polling 25, 659 votes. He beat four other candidates hands down.
Kyagulanyi beat NRM’s Sitenda Sebalu who polled 4,556 while FDC’s Apollo Kantinti scored 1,832, Nkunyingi Muwada who got 575. Mr Sowed Kayongo Male came last with 377 votes.
