We all want our relationship to last but only few know how to make a relationship last.
There are certain things you should never do if you want your relationship to last. Check them out below
1. AVOID NAGGING
There is never a good reason to nag. Stop justifying your nagging habits. When you nag, your relationship suffers from it. Instead of nagging, try to encourage and support your partner.
2. NEVER ASSUME
One problem that affects many relationships is a partner assuming his/her partner should know what they want or how they are feeling. This is so wrong. Stop assuming. If you are not getting the attention you feel you need from your partner, talk to your partner about it.
3. CRITICISING YOUR PARTNER
Don’t expect your relationship to last if you always criticise your partner because criticism tears down relationships. If you feel your partner is doing something you don’t like, learn to talk about it with your partner in a sensitive way.
4. BEING TOO BUSY TO HAVE FUN WITH YOUR PARTNER
Couples who have fun regularly and laugh a lot last longer. Learn to have fun times with your partner as this will help your relationship last.
5. AVOID PLAYING THE VICTIM
Playing the victim and seeking who to blame for your problems isn’t good for relationship. Couples who want their relationship to last take responsibility for their mistakes and seek to make it right instead of blaming the other person.
6. DON’T COMPARE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS
Comparison isn’t good for your relationship and doing this won’t make your relationship last. You should understand that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side even if it seems to look that way.
